Ariel Foundation Park Bridge Sunrise

Ariel Foundation Park Bridge Sunrise: The colors at that magical time right before the sun rises are often hard to beat. The cool tones of “blue hour” start to give way to the warmer ones cast by the rising sun. A lovely combination of orange and blue often results as was the case on this particular morning. This photo was taken at Ariel Foundation Park in Mount Vernon, Ohio. A pair of quarry ponds there are connected by a narrow opening in a land bridge spanned by a beautiful bright red bridge. The color of the bridge is obviously irrelevant here but it made for a lovely subject nonetheless.
