Smokey Mountain Morning

Kuwohi (formerly Clingman’s Dome) is the highest point in Tennessee, the Appalachians, and along the entire Appalachian Trail. This view is from the parking lot looking Northeast along the Appalachian Divide. The name change was made in 2024 to honor the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, who originally named the mountain Kuwohi, translated “mulberry place.”
